DD's assignment:
"I think that many of us realize that lyrics are the songwriting element that get most overlooked in this club, since we’re always under the gun. This week, I’d like to focus on them. I’d like for everyone to begin the process with lyrics alone. I want you to write your lyrics - or at least a first (or second or third) draft - and post them to the Bandcamp page BEFORE you start writing the song itself. Ideally, I’d love for everyone to put in some good time writing and rewriting, and then put in the kind of minimal time on composition and recording that we usually put in on lyric writing, later in the week. Everything else is up for grabs."

Woke up this morning with this. No idea what it means. The rhyme scheme feels a bit like Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover." I'll add (and/or subtract) to this as the week goes by.
