"I love Christmas music...for 10 years my old band wrote, recorded and gave away a Holiday song. To continue that tradition, I need to write a solo
Holiday song this year.. This will force me to do so.
Write a Christmas song, Xmas song, Happy Holidays song... not a song about that silver aluminum pole, or airing grievances- a Holiday song. Want to buck the system? go visit Doug's old tune, "When you come back home for Christmas" for a primer on how to write a non-holiday holiday song. "
